This also means that your options might be somewhat limited, compared to someone who does not have such goals.

If you already have a brand elsewhere like a website, a small business etc. and you want to start a faceless channel that is in line with your existing brands then you will have to consider building your brand representation, including your content to reflect that existing brand.

  • AI Generated Voice Narration: This is a popular option for most creators. With tools like Eleven labs, Murf AI, speechify etc. you can easily create AI text to speech content from scratch, using these tools.
  • Animated Explainer Videos: Animated explainers are also a great option for faceless YouTube content. They are very popular with content creators that create book explainer content, including general storytelling content.
  • Screen Recordings: Screen recording content is great for tutorials and how-to content, including tech and software explainers etc. You could be creating and posting screen recording with a voice over or an explainer header.

  • Text Based Videos with Background Visuals: This can be very helpful in creating very engaging content, while still keeping it faceless.

With the level of competition, we have right now, getting a decent visibility, views or going viral with your channel can be very hard for beginners but there are ways to still get some visibility as a beginner.

So, after you start a Faceless YouTube Channel, instead of creating content based off your own intuition, consider researching your niche and creating content on topics that are already in demand by your target audience.

There are a number of tools you can use for this research. Let’s take the YouTube search autocomplete for example. To use this option, type in your preferred keywords or topics into YouTube search and watch out for the autocomplete function to understand what topics are in demand and how people are searching for it.

In addition to that, you can also use Google Trends to find out what people are searching for. Remember, while Google Trends gives you an overview of audience’s interest in a particular topic, you can’t really create YouTube videos on all kind of topics. So, you want to choose very well what search interest aligns with your audience’s needs.

In addition to these two, there are also some keywords research tools like Google Keywords tool, Answer the Public, Ahref Keywords Research tool etc.

You can combine these tools in your research. Together, they will give you an idea on what topics will work for your target audience.

A script is the concept of the content you plan to create. It is what you share with your audience either as a voice over text, animated video or an explainer.

If you want to start a faceless YouTube Channel and grow it from scratch then you need to create and optimize your script from scratch. And your script should be optimized to capture a strong opening or hook, a clear structure and sentencing, a middle part and a closing that is very effective.

With AI tools, it is now easier to write scripts, instead of writing these scripts from scratch, use these AI tools to write them. AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity etc. can be very helpful in this regard.

With the right prompt, you can get your script all written exactly the way it will be delivered. But do not stop there. After your script has been written, take out time to edit, expand and add value to it.

If you’re creating content on topics that needs in-depth research, make additional effort to research more and add extra value to the content. Do not use script exactly as it has been generated from the AI tools.

PS: You can also write your scripts manually if you want to or if you’re creating content solely based off your own expertise.

When it comes to creating a faceless YouTube video content, there are a lot of tools you can use to create videos without showing your face. This includes, video editing tools like:

For voice over: using your own voice on a phone mic or PC Mic could work. It can create a real human emotional connection while adding substance to the video. But to get the best of it, you’ll need a decent level of editing.

You can also use AI text to speech tools like Eleven Labs, Murf AI, PlayHT etc., if you’re more inclined to having it fully automated.
