Your website is one of your primary sales funnel. And as a sales tool, it is meant to add value to your customers, increase your sales and drive improved growth for your business.
But, this is not the reality for most website owners.
Even though thousands of businesses are driving more than 50 percent of new sales from their websites, millions of others are still struggling to make a sale online.
As someone that’s been there, I know how it feels to invest so much resources in building and creating a website without making sales from it.
So in this guide, I’ll be sharing with you in the following sub headings, some of the secret strategies I used to start making sales from my website, which I’ve also used for many of my clients.
Build a Functional Website
One of the first quick steps to get more sales from your website is to build a functional website.
From available data, a leading reason why businesses fail to make sales online is because their website is not delivering on functionality.
So, it’s either the website is too slow, does not display properly on mobile devices or it’s not having the necessary information and CTAs at the right locations.
This is one of the reasons I failed to get clients when I started out newly. There was no clear call to action on my website. So, even when I had visitors, my users had no idea what I was doing on the website.
The moment you fail to build a functional website, you are bound to lose potential clients.
You want to avoid this by getting a Custom Domain & Hosting that reflects your brand. Doing this builds credibility and trust. And when a client trusts your brand, it gets easier to buy from you.
Furthermore, make your website easily accessible for both desktop and mobile users across all locations. This will reduce your bounce rates while boosting your search visibility.
